There’s nothing you have to do

Question to Neale: Conversations with God says, “There’s nothing you have to do.” What does this mean? If this is telling us what I think it is, why bother working for a better world? Why bother even being a “nice person”? And if, as you say in What God Wants, the truth is that God wants nothing at all, why not just break all the rules, live a completely hedonistic life, and let the devil take the hindmost? This whole message leaves me frustrated. – AG, Minneapolis, Minn.

Dear AG: You ask a good question. Yet the statement, “There’s nothing you have to do” should bring you the greatest joy, and not a moment of frustration, because it is God’s greatest gift: Freedom. The statement does not mean there is nothing you will do in your life, it means that there nothing you have to do. In other words, nothing that you are required to do.

God does not require us to do certain things, or to avoid doing certain things, in order to “get into heaven.” That notion reflects an elementary (perhaps even a primitive) understanding of God and Life.

The God of Ultimate Reality requires, commands, and demands nothing. Why would God, when God is and has everything? What God desires is simply to experience Godself in all its glory. So God created Physical Life as an out-picturing, or expression, of Itself, giving Itself total Free Will to manifest Itself in any way that any of its countless aspects might choose to, using a simple formula: the higher and grander the choice, the higher and grander the experience.

The opportunity, then, that is placed before Human Beings (who are one out-picturing of God) is to express ourselves in each golden moment of Now in the next grandest version of the greatest vision ever we held about Who We Are. The greater our vision, the grander our possibilities, to which there no limits.

Thus, the only reason to do or not do anything is not to “please God” or to avoid “displeasing God,” but rather, to express God and to experience God in the next grandest way possible, given the level of Consciousness of each manifestation of Divine Energy that exists in the Physical Realm.

The answer to the question, “Why bother?” is, therefore: We do, or not do, a thing in order to express and experience, and thus to know and fulfill, Who We Choose to Be.

Or, as CWG says; “Every act is an act of Self-Definition.”

Put simply, humanity is in the process of re-creating itself in every moment. Anthropologists might call this process “evolution.” It is the process by which all living things evolve. The reason for doing any particular thing, then, is to evolve—and to demonstrate and experience the level to which one has evolved.

We can help each other in this process. Indeed, that is what all Great Teachers have done from the beginning of time.

And now, we are coming to see that we are all  “teachers,” in that humans have developed the technology for everyone now to see each other fully, openly, transparently. By using platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, YouTube and, for that matter, the Internet as a whole—including this Internet Newspaper, The Global Conversation—we place ourselves (perhaps unwittingly) in the space of Teacher. That is, we are teaching others whether we know it or not.

Other people are watching us. How are we living our lives? How we are using these technologies? Are we using Facebook, Twitter, etc., to tell each other what we had for breakfast, and how frustrated we are that we missed our hairdressing appointment? Or are we using these technologies to share with each other what we have learned and what we have chosen to demonstrate regarding what it means to live our lives as human expressions of the Divine?

What are you using your life for? And how would you choose to behave and experience your humanity if you felt that you didn’t have to do anything in particular to pass God’s “judgment”? Now that is true freedom. And that is what is meant by on Earth, as it is in Heaven.

Can we create heaven on earth right now? Yes. Are we doing so? No. We are creating a hell on earth. And that, quite remarkably, is our own collective decision.

It doesn’t have to be this way. You can choose differently, right now, this day, in your life. And if everyone did this, we could and would change the world.

May God’s blessings flow to you, and through to, to everyone whose life you  touch, both now and even forevermore.

Wonderfully put Neale, and it expresses exactly what resonates within my own heart. The greatest change we can make to heal our cultural, is to heal our own heart, and live the life each of us know we love. Evolution of the human species has always been lead by a few who lived their own passion while others watched and made their own choice to attempt to do likewise. I am entangled with all existence, through the energy that flows from Source into eternity, as ALL existence is entangled. Namaste’

Sooo…walk…no talk today, just walk…Mouth will only get ya in deep doodoo, & I have yet to experience the ‘luck’ in stepping in poop…and wouldn’t the lack of mouth noise make for a refreshing & peace-filled walk?

Too easy? Sooo not sorry about that!:)

What God wants is nothing. I feel this is the best news anyone can receive in life. Wowee! What freedom! What freedom lies within this message. It grants all life a new day as it grants us the knowing we don’t have to do a thing. When we know we don’t need to do a thing and we know we don’t need to be a thing, in particular, except love, when we know we are the thing called love, suddenly, all life opens all doors of love for all life living one love. Suddenly, all possibility of life springs open a new door for all life to begin living a new day, a new day for the new life of love for all life’s sake.

When I know God wants nothing, I know I can become anything at all in life, as long as I become more for love, more for life. I can become anything I want to be in life, as long as I know I am being more love for all life. I am more love for life, by just being the true heart I Am in God’s big heart of life of one love. It’s a freedom all share as all bring forth more freedom to be who all really is in the one true heart of all life. It’s a freedom we gift all life as we gift all love the true heart we are in one mind of God. As we come forth for each other in all love, we bring forth more love for the true life of the living heart of God in all life. We are the love in God’s life. We are that who knows life is love is God. It’s a granting hour we gift all life as we gift each other to each other in the knowing we are the love of God’s life throughout all life. It’s a gift we gift ourselves as we gift to love. It’s a gift we gift to each other in the true heart of one love that knows we are the gift of one love that is each other.

We are one thing named one life called one being called love called God called life called process called machinery called living life called whatever love says God is. I say life is love is God and life is love is God begets more life is love is God as life comes forth for love in all life. Call God by what you want to call God. We are one being of one love. We are the being of God by whatever name God is called. You can call God it. You can call God energy, life, process, one love, Christ Consciousness, Universal Consciousness, Nothingness, Buddha, Mohammad, Krishna, anything. Anything at all. You can call God any of those things. God is all of those things. You can call God a pile of dung. I know. I am sorry, but that is love, too. If God says, I Am that I Am, believe me I am that I Am. I don’t care. I don’t think God cares what we call him, but if I look at a pile of dung, and God says to me, “I Am that right there. I Am that I Am. Yes. I Am that I Am. I Am all that I Am, including that big pile of dung right there,” I know in my heart of hearts I will jump faster than a wink of an eye and breathe that dung pile and I will never look back at anything else in all life as anything lovelier in all life, because I know that that dung pile contains the same energy that houses every heart of life of one love named Chista’s heart of gold, and I know that that heart energy of all life is the same energy that houses every heart of life living life as love as oneness. I know in that dung pile, all life can spring forth into all love, as the one giving heart of Christ I Am throughout all life. I know that All love that lives I Amness is the springing forth heart that gifts all life to one love. I know that in that dung pile lies the same love in me that lies in all life in you. I know that energy is the same energy that houses every house of one love throughout all life, including all life as a leaf in every leafy tree, all life as a particle in every ferny particle of every branching tree, all life in every grain of sand of every sandy beach, all life in every pile of dung that lifts all life to me in the wink of a grand eye that opens all eyes to the mind of God I Am, and so much more. Because, God is always becoming so much more for all life. God is all life, and I am it, too. All I know are it, and so are you. You are it, too.

Love to all. This is way longer than it should be. I have to stop though I have five. . no. . six pages already on this post alone. Geeze. I don’t know where to post these things anymore. It seems rather cozy in this room now with so many threads going. Ah well. I hope there is still a place for us peons to post in life. Smile. I am smiling, too. Yes. God is a peon, too. I agree there is nothing we have to do to get into heaven, heaven being the consciousness without experience after our body dies. A reconnection to the divine knowledge of God.
However there are many things we have to do if we choose to delay entry into heaven, to continue living. A few obvious ones are breathing, drinking, eating, moving and other bodily functions. Yet this is not enough to feel alive. For that we must have compassion, empathy, love and some degree of understanding of our experience to grow our contextual field of awareness. I could be argued that in order to appreciate these things we must have experienced and clearly remember all the antonyms of these, including anger, envy, disgust and ignorance. Yet we forget easily, so we need reminders of these things in our contextual field to help us, or we would need to re-experience them.
Another thing we need to remember is that acts done in anger are not evil, just ignorant of cause and effect. Likewise, people that fail to educate these people are merely afraid. I find that, as our world changes so rapidly, and people are shocked, we fail to understand that our natural response is to adapt to the new environment, and this process is extremely stressful. Paradoxically, if we resist, and fail to adapt, the result is even more stressful. And with so much stress being placed on everyone, everywhere, incidence of fear based anger and complacency and other negative feelings skyrockets.
The purpose of this global conversation is to help each other. It has been said that “if you don’t go within, you go without” but thats not enough. We have to cooperate, synergise, become interdependent, if we want to survive. We are facing the most significant threat to our survival that Mankind has ever experienced, including the last Ice Age many millenia ago. Only by recognising this and banding together as a Brotherhood of Man can we hope to prevail as a species.
Yet there will still be many many casualties, so the secondary purpose of this global conversation is to allow us to comfort each other through the traumatic experiences to come. Divided we are weak, together we are strong, physically, psychologically, emotionally. We must learn to see each other as a family, as one who is many. An organisation is only is strong as its weakest link, its weakest member, but instead of ejecting them to be stronger without, we must strengthen them so that on the day that we are weak, they can strengthen us, heal us.
I am asking now for a hand up, not a hand out, for I am weak. I am very afraid and traumatised by events that are occuring now, today, around the world. I have been depressed a great deal by events that have occurred around the world, and it is not hard to extrapolate from this what the future is likely to be like. This has led to the highest diagnostic level of paranoia and despair that modern medicine can measure.
To get a glimpse of the turmoil I’m in, google “Richard Heinberg”, “Thom Hartmann – Last Hours of Ancient Sunlight”, “Rachael Carson – Silent Spring”, “Al Gore – An Inconvenient Truth”, and a global lack of galvanizing action to the teachings of NDW, Steven R Covey, Eckhart Tolle, Marianne Williamson, Louise Hay, Jesus Christ, Buddha, Gandhi, Mother Teresa, etc, etc, despite the number of subscribers to one or more of these people.
NDW is correct about one thing for sure: We NEED to talk. Everyone, everywhere, right now. Less chit chat, chin wagging banter about trivialities (the weather is no longer a triviality), and more about our feelings, our beliefs, and our assumptions / preconceived notions. Will you talk with me, publicly, on record?

    This could be interesting:

THE MOVEMENT TO UNITE ALL WAYSEERS

All over the world there are Wayseers who struggle, who hide their gifts, because they don’t realize what they are. We are here to find Wayseers throughout the world and let them know how important they are to humanity. We are here to turn Wayseers on to their rare aptitude for leading transformation.

When the Wayseers of the world are awakened to their true calling on this planet, a massive shift in the human condition will occur. Wayseers are the change agents of humanity – the innovators, the healers, the visionaries, the spiritual leaders, the entrepreneurs, the ones who are here to lead humanity into alignment with the Way.

We calculate there to be 700 Million Wayseers worldwide. That’s about 10% of the world population. We have already reached a few hundred thousand. You can help us reach many more. You already know in your heart who the Wayseers are in your life; please share this movement with them…

WAYSEERS ARE “IDEA FACTORIES” WHO THRIVE ON ENTHUSIASM

If you’re a visionary (an “idea factory”), you thrive on enthusiasm. Without it you become listless, distracted and depressed. Enthusiasm is your super power and you want to share it with others. But most folks don’t “get” you and your ideas. They don’t appreciate your “crazy” enthusiasm. Their negativity and doubt constantly takes the wind from your sails, making you feel like there’s something wrong with you, forcing you to relent, give up on your dreams and live a mundane life just like they do.

It’s tragic how so many Wayseers experience this struggle. Amazing, powerful, world-shifting visionaries so often find themselves with no support to see their visions through. If you are a Wayseer, you are among the smartest, most talented and brilliant people on the planet when you’re working at your full potential; but you are also in the minority and probably suffer like a diamond in the rough – adrift in a sea of naysayers who can’t believe you could change anything, let alone the world.

    AMPLIFY YOUR INSPIRATION …

What you need is a community of enthusiastic and creative risk-takers who “get” you, who fuel your ideas and enthusiasm with even more enthusiasm and inspiration, who will act like amplifiers for your dreams and passions, who will help and inspire you to reach the heights you were destined for.

That’s why I founded Wayseers.org – to bring you and other Wayseers together into one place, a pressure cooker of enthusiasm, passion and inspiration where we nurture your belief in yourself, amplify your passion, support and help you wholeheartedly in the pursuit of your dreams and deepest calling, and turn you loose to light the world with your brilliance.

Imagine what that would feel like to know that you were right where you are supposed to be, doing exactly what you are supposed to do… Imagine having a cheering section helping you stay on your greatest path, by encouraging instead of doubting – because they know you – because they are just like you – and they understand what you are capable of if you just believe in yourself.

Please be aware that what people call heaven has nothing to do with dying…death is not enlightenment. The belief that death equals enlightenment is one of the most dangerous and destructive, widespread delusion and an impediment to actual spiritual growth.

Heaven is a state of consciousness, as is hell. However you are in consciousness is your world, your experience, your “place”, it is where you are, it is what you project and create, express all around you. If your consciousness is immersed in fear, in guilt, in suffering, death will not redeem you, you will still be experiencing these conditions in spirit form, until you grow out of them, until you heal from within.

The only reality is the here and now. There is no other. Heaven is not for tomorrow, it is nowhere, it exists nowhere but here and now. Here is infinity, now is eternity. Everything else is merely a thought, a projection.

And yes there is nothing you need to do to be in your natural, innate condition, to be “in” heaven, here and now, apart from releasing all that blocks you from being here and now, which means becoming conscious of and releasing all thoughts, beliefs, perceptions and ways of being that get in the way of your true nature, your divine nature.

It’s good to have someone to talk to who actually understands and believes this subject matter, and in many areas I agree with you, however I think you will find CWG and many other works disagree with you on a few crucial elements.
When a person loses their physical form, they transform their consciousness into an pure energy unmanifested state. In this state, as with all forms of pure energy, the consciousness is immune from harm or destruction. Furthermore, without a brain and central nervous system to process interaction, all experience is impossible, including feelings and emotions such as fear, guilt or suffering. Death is a default ticket to heaven.

However we now know that for a select few to date, people have been able to have a physical experience so joyous and peaceful and exhilarating that they feel compelled to compare it with heaven. NDW says that an experience of heaven in its entirety is impossible because no individuation of God can comprehend the contextual field of everything. Our awareness is our natural limitation of comprehension.

I am, among other works, very well versed in Eckhart Tolle, particularly Be Here Now. I agree with your assertions about being “in” heaven, but feel compelled to challenge your opinion of hell. On this I suspect I am not alone. Many authors have claimed there is no such experience possible that can be accurately and objectively described as bad, evil, satanic, or hell. Even suffering is purely subjective, as I describe myself to be experiencing now.

So this experience range of heaven and hell and all the tones of grey between are choices of experience available to the consciousness. People almost always say they want to be happy, loved, energised and safe, yet their behaviour suggests otherwise. People will often consciously choose a challenging environment or circumstance in order to experience overcoming it. This is what Joseph Campbell calls the Hero Story.

My entire life I have sensed there is something very dysfunctional about humans in general. to detail my feelings here would take many pages. Perhaps another time. One of my primary feelings is an extreme, neurotic amount of compassion and empathy. As I see what our species has worked so hard to achieve crumbling, I feel compelled to play out a hero story. I feel I must wear the burden of learning from the mistakes of humanity, and compel others to join me in this quest. NDW called it The Storm Before The Calm. However he made a minor mistake on pg 7. The fact that we are adapting to our new conditions is evidence that we want to survive, but is not a guarantee. Life forms are fragile, and can only exist under very specific circumstances.

So this may seem paradoxical, irrational and impossible, but I simultaneously seek peace, joy and enlightenment AND to continue my quest to overcome this seemingly insurmountable obstacle. Strangely, it is not fame or fortune I seek. As with any perceived imminent threat, I am satisfied with sacrificing my peace of mind in order to activate the fight / flight response and combat the threat for the sake of a reasonably assured future of peace of mind. Only by contributing to finding a solution can I genuinely declare to myself that I am fulfilling my life purpose and thus experience heaven on Earth. Even if I don’t ever achieve my purpose, it would still be worth the costs I’m paying now in anxiety, provided enough people are willing to carry on the work after I am no longer capable.

Thank you Buzz, I am enjoying this exchange of thoughts.

Before I respond I want to express that I know all opinions and experiences are valid, I will simply share my experience, it does not mean it is right or better than any other, but it is true for me, it is my way, different than most.

From my experience: I have no doubt that the consciousness is immune from harm in pure spirit form…but I know from psychic knowledge, from communicating with the “other side” directly (rather than from written theories, from book knowledge), that experience is normal in the spirit world. It is different than in the physical, but it is still experience.

I know (psychically) that a person who does not resolve his or her inner issues while in physical form will still have to deal with such issues after death, for these issues are still within the psyche of the individual, they are his or her creations, and with creativity comes responsibility.

Some issues and experiences can even “leak” from one life to another, and when negative, can cause unexplained phobias, etc in a present life experience.

Many are trapped on the other side (as if in a psychic bubble), because of their own guilt. No one is punishing them, they simply cannot break free of their own thoughts of guilt…read the book “Don’t Kiss Them Goodbye” by Allison Dubois, a true medium…she cites examples. I personally dealt with such situations, psychically. I actually just helped someone who committed suicide, and who felt trapped in his own pain and guilt on the other side. I felt his feelings and caught some of his thoughts…and I was able to help free him, but it is a process.

When I used the term “hell”, I did not mean anything bad, satanic or evil. There are no such things, but there are mental creations and projections of consciousness…gestalts of negative human energy…and states of consciousness, such as fear, hatred, guilt, suffering. These have to be resolved because they do not disappear upon death, they still need to be healed from within.

People who have lower or denser vibrations because of such negative thoughts and feelings temporarily find themselves in spiritual dimensions that match their vibrations. It is difficult to explain with regular language…these dimensions are not places…they are planes of corresponding energies. And the key to liberation from these conditions is always within the person.

From what I understand the hero story of Joseph Campbell is about resolving these problems, about the journey into the unconscious and “overcoming” (actually integrating) its shadows. The path to all knowledge is indeed within.
The fear of the unconscious in most people parallels the fear of what some call “hell”.

Another note: as you believe, so do you experience in this dimension. The same goes for after death…those who believe in angels might see angels, those who believe in demons and think they deserve punishment because of their own thoughts of guilt will see demons…thoughts are almost instantly manifested in the spirit world as projections. It can be very confusing for “new arrivals”, until they get a better grip and understand the consequences of their thoughts.

Another thing: progress towards what some call enlightenment is much quicker here than in the spirit world…because of the intense polarity and resistance in the physical world, which causes rapid progress for those who seek (it’s a paradox).

So don’t waste your time while here, don’t wait for heaven as an after death experience. That’s my advice…be here now, there is no other time or place.

I never read Eckhart Tolle, but I experienced the “here and now” on my own spiritual journey while very young. I experienced a sense of my own eternity, in the eternal present. It is not that difficult to get there…all we need is to be totally immersed in pure being (which has nothing to do with the world definition of being), learning how to use time to eventually transcend it…it is another paradox, as are most things of the Spirit.

Hello Mewabe (that sounds native American),
My name has many meanings: Buzz as in the energy of electricity that I am, Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story, the imaginative explorer and adventurer on a journey that never ends, “To Infinity, And Beyond”, and a little because the double zz suggests there should be more (like a !) but we’ve run out of letters in the alphabet, perhaps because we were catching up on some zzz. I’m something of a unique medical enigma, best described as a “!”, and as such I challenge everything  and everyone around me.
Spoiler alert: I agree with / support AND oppose everything you believe!
Paragraph 1: I am satisfied you are enjoying this exchange. Due to my condition enjoyment is nearly impossible, but I find it very stimulating as an effective distraction from my pain and fear. This is a very good thing.
P2: The whole “true for me” thing is implied, as all experience is subjective. Only God can ever be truly objective. What we can do is help each other understand clearer, so that we may discover a way to recreate ourselves anew. This is the nature of recreational activity.
P3: the implication of being immune to harm is there is nothing to be afraid of. Energy is immortal, invulnerable and free. Concepts like fragility, regret, guilt, pain and fear are irrelevant.I regret to inform you that you have misguided yourself in your psychic experience. I have a unique ability that even paranormal studies have yet to define or name. The TV series Dr Who touched on it in an episode depicting the experience of growing up as a Timelord on Gallifrey. He called it looking into the vortex of all space time. The other Timelord called Master went mad from seeing it. I have access to something like this vortex. The spirit world, and God entire, want for us what we want for ourselves. You have chosen to have these experiences with the other side. You have chosen exactly how they portray themselves. You have chosen to believe that the other side are able to experience, then produced for yourself irrefutable evidence. You created a self fulfilling prophesy.
P4: I can tell you believe very strongly in justice, and/or karma, and this has been central to your belief is dealing with psychological issues. Yet you know that on the other side there are no brains to think, feel, form opinions or judgements about yourself or anything else. NDW and a great deal more prophets have said there are no judgements in the house of God. Therefore you cannot judge yourself as needing or feeling compelled to correct mistakes, resolve issues or feel at all responsible. These are all matters of the flesh.
P5: God individuated Godself so that God could experience interaction. These parts are called matter. When part of Godself chooses to manifest physically, it can take any form. E=mc2. Reincarnation does not progress chronologically, geographically, or as a representation of increased intelligence or spiritual growth. Concepts like time, space, improvement, and the rest of our vocabulary are foreign to the spirit world. If a certain spirit were once human, it could decide to divide itself or join with other energy and manifest as solid, liquid, gas or plasma. It could be an ameoba, stone, a thermonuclear reaction on the surface of a star anywhere in the universe. But it doesn’t choose what it wants, because it has no wants, or any other emotion. It chooses as an act of creation. Only God can make a tree. If someone were born with, say, an unexplained phobia, they chose to be created that way.
P6: I am very well aware of Allison Dubois, have read some of her work, and applaud her for the work she is doing to help living human beings overcome emotions that trap them. Joseph Campbell helped in a similar way. The mythology of psychic phenomena is one of many ways we have created to deal with trauma. Psychic experiences are real, and are a connection with the other side, but they are a subjective experience. “My truth for me, etc” remember. So how does a non physical, purely objective entity communicate? A hallucination may be one way to describe it. It really is all in your mind. But how can a hallucination be real? Forget about the method of delivery. The experience is the message, and that’s real.
P8: The groupings of energy you describe do occur, because like attracts like. It is the law of attraction, like gravity, and it applies at every level. The strongest energies have the highest gravitational field, and are attracted to other strong energies. This process leads to energy density. But these energies are not strong or weak, popular or isolated, because of any kind of emotion, positive or negative. There are no battery terminals involved either. All energy is positive. Any electrician understands this. The negative terminal is a feedback loop or discharge route for excess positivity. To understand about the behaviour of energy on the other side, there is a children’s parable by NDW about God, a single bit of light, and the journey into darkness.
P9: I strongly suggest viewing a film called Finding Joe. It will explain the Hero Story more clearly.
P10: The imaginative power of the mind is not impeded by death, however the representation of heaven and hell in What Dreams May Come with Robin Williams is deceptively fictional. Imagination comes from the creative side of the brain, powered by the mind. Without a brain on the other side, this power is unable to express itself experientially, or interact with itself or other imaginations. It cannot manifest anything it creates and so it yearns for a physical form to allow itself to express itself.
P11: I don’t understand. Paradoxes are always difficult to grasp, as are dichotomy and oxymoron concepts. NDW is good at explaining such ideas.
P12-14: Here and now hurts a lot. Not as much as thinking about past or future I’ll admit, but my preferred time and place is no time, no where. This is why I sleep a lot, daydream, meditate, and immerse myself in vicarious experiences of TV, film, music, literature and games. Fiction and virtual reality are an improvement on our physical existence.Remember my spoiler alert? The dichotomy of all this is built on Allison’s belief that “they live on in us”. This is meant to be taken literally. Remember I talked about the hallucination? That experience is possible because your physical attributes, brain etc, are like hijacked, temporarily inhabited, by the energy of another spirit seeking to have experiences like thoughts and feelings through you. At this point there can be 4 or more entities vying for the right to expression: your body, your mind, your spirit, and the hijacker(s). You will notice you have the ability to resist, but only because you’re aware it’s happening. This is called being possessed. Energies are affecting us all the time, many of them non-spiritual in experience. Electromagnetic radiation is one example. So let’s do this all again …

P4: A possessing spirit can desire to express painful memories from its past, or the past of another, based on the belief that it will help heal the trauma and pain of the experience. It does this because it knows you are receptive to it, and is asking your help. As a compassionate person you believe it should be helped. The real purpose is for it to allow you to think and behave compassionately, because that is the type of person you choose to be and you yearn to express yourself as such. Allison is the same way.In rare cases a spirit can choose to divide itself into an infinite number of individuations and possess multiple people simultaneously, resulting in a mass hallucination.
P7: In this subjective, experiential context, a hijacked imagination can be made to experience what it believes to be bad, satanic or evil. Vice versa, the hijacker can experience the mental hell created by a real person through an addictive or obsessive emotional state. Hijackers generally leave people like that alone shortly after possession. Schizophrenia continues by believing they are still possessed. Usually the possessing spirit is just trying to help the person be whomever they choose to be, like with the compassionate person. Finally, I believe these spirits ask for help because they know you think they can be helped, and because you want to help. This is, again, the law of attraction at work. You and Neale and I, and I expect many others on here, are all announcing to the universe that we want to help others, and they come in droves. If this is what you want: to be in demand, needed, and expected to perform duties unconditionally for the benefit of others, with rewards including appreciation, support, encouragement, admiration, respect and triumph, then I applaud you.
I am very confused and disoriented. I don’t know what I want. I see so many possible paths that all lead to death and I have trouble choosing which type of personality I wish to express, how I choose to represent myself, how much responsibility I wish to burden myself with, and which rewards of feeling or thought or position or action or status or monetary value or material possessions I prefer to receive from the universe. For a long time I haven’t wanted anything of any kind that wasn’t vital to continued physical health and survival. I’m trying to get into a university course on philosophy and psychology to help me answer this: What do I choose? Who am I? WHO AM I?!?!

    Hi All Life,

I am here because all life needs to know Christmas is coming a little early this year. I believe there is a real thing called Love. This real thing called Love is who we are, and this thing lives as a lighted flame of Christ fully lit in the heart of All Life on Earth as God lives Earth as life lives Earth in Heaven right here, right now. I had a real dream the other night, three nights ago, actually, and that dream inspired a story, a creative Christmas Story of All Creative Christmas Stories for All Life. It’s a sweet dream. It’s a real dream I hear and it comes true for all life as soon as all life says it’s a true dream for all life. I hope all want to read it. It’s on my blog at http://www.iandasheart.blogspot.com It’s a little long, even for me 🙂

Love to All and Merry Merry Merry Christmas to All a little early this year 🙂

Buzz, I am impressed by your knowledge…
It is true that Primal Therapy cannot be applied to everyone…however
Wikipedia is not quite correct. Problems do not have to originate from
one or two or more traumatic events. They can arise from things that
are far more subtle…and yet, because repetitive, just as devastating in
    the long run.
The process is not just about accepting the past but feeling repressed
feelings while spontaneously reliving the corresponding repressed
    memories.
The dialectic is that a young child cannot integrate such emotional or
psychological pain/fear when overwhelming or when not allowed to
safely feel and express, and the brain automatically suppresses it…but
the adult can feel, integrate, understand and release such experiences
in a safe and supportive environment, and thus regain a sense of self,
    of wholeness.
The suppression does not always work when there is too much pain or
fear (or for other reasons), then some of it “leaks” from the deepest part
of the brain into the noecortex, without being properly integrated with
the memory…it can therefore take unreal, symbolic forms in some cases
(such as delusions, paranoia) as the brain attempts to make sense of
it. Janov explains it so much better…(I don’t have time to look at his
books now, if I did I could use more appropriate terms).
I am sorry this could not work for you…I hope you find a way.

Oh you are very good. I really like talking to you. And in the spirit of
Sophism, and our search for aretê, I completely agree with all of that.
My uncle really got my hopes up when he explained Primal Therapy,
but unfortunately it was categorically ruled out as a realistic potential
treatment. NDW says with understanding comes the redundancy of
forgiveness, and my childhood traumatic experiences, while subtle on
occasion and less subtle on others, were primarily based on my
behaviour to instigate those events, playing the psychological games
of aloof and victim by Eric Berne MD. I still play aloof quite a lot even
today, unintentionally. I therefore hold no blame, guilt, remorse, anger,
fear or vengeance toward my childhood tormentors, and hope they find
    peace.
Remember I said I am unique. The dictionary definition of paranoia
includes delusional psychosis, yet my non delusional paranoia is
entirely evidence based, scientifically supported fear and dread of
events that have been occurring most of my life, are occurring now,
and are reasonably expected to increase in frequency and severity in
the very very near future. This threat is hiding in plain sight, every
human on Earth is fully aware of it, and noone with the power to act,
anywhere on Earth, is prepared to do what is necessary. Including me.
Because the consequences of doing nothing are so significant, that
means the obvious solution is unacceptable, so we’re all looking and
hoping and praying an alternative, less drastic solution presents itself
before we pass the point of no return. Part of my anxiety comes from
knowing that there is a possibility we have already passed it, and all
effort may be for nothing. As with bushwalking, when you’re on the
wrong path there are no signs to indicate as such, and backpackers
can die walking too far in the wrong direction and not knowing they are
lost. The point of no return is near invisible, and everyone gets 20/20 in
    retrospect.
Our only collective opportunity, since we have time and resources left
for only one last chance to solve this problem before game over, is to
pool our talents, cooperate in a way this planet has never seen (even in
Hollywood), puts aside our petty differences (Speech by US President
near end of Independence Day with Will Smith), and deal with this issue
openly, publicly, and as soon as friggin possible. If we fail to plan, we
plan to fail. In this case failure = extinction, potentially including every
multicellular species that has or will ever exist on Earth. But on the
bright side, the planet will still be here, some measure of life will
continue, and everyone’s invited to the big party in the afterlife. Smile,
put on some Bob Marley “Don’t worry, be happy”, and start talking to
    people today!

Thank you for the dialogue Buzz…
The way I see it there is nothing to fear. Life is a soul journey, and the only fear anyone could have would be to loose touch with his or her soul…which is what happens when we get too caught up in the world.

Humanity is simply having a dream…nothing more. It does look like a nightmare, but it is still nothing more than a mental projection and creation, an expression of its collective psyche.

And so, the way I see it, as humanity is dreaming its collective dream of fear, its intense drama, the best way to remain in touch with our soul is to continue loving, no matter what, even in the midst of the storm.

Buzz, regarding your previous response (that ended with “who am I?), we must be willing to agree to disagree on these topics…our experiences and understandings of reality are different….I totally respect your views and experiences, and thank you for sharing them with me.

I can only say this regarding your last paragraph, again according to my own experience: one can only know who one is when you feeling it, rather than thinking it. According to what I know, feeling is meaning…not thinking (in other words “I feel therefore I am” is more accurate than “I think therefore I am”).

By this I mean feeling at the deepest possible level, at the soul/spirit level, not as a superficial and passing emotion but in a spiritual way. Because that’s where identity resides, in our soul.

Even when you know who you are, there is still creative choice….to be spiritually awakened does not make life in this world any easier, on the contrary. It is easier to function in this world while asleep, because this world was made by and for those who are asleep.

Trust yourself…if you are having difficulties, it is probably because you are more sensitive than most….remember that the only true path is within, the door to liberation is in your heart, in your soul, in your mind when totally connected to your heart and soul.

    Mewabe,
I’m resonating strongly with your last 2 posts. May I please ask you to elaborate further. I sense a strange and rare combination of agreement without fully understanding.
this is partly because you are describing what I’ve been experiencing, but I’m unaware of what is causing me to feel this way. I have long believed that feelings are more honest than thoughts, and have practiced listening to them to the degree that I’m now somewhat androgynous, yet despite some drastic measures my feelings are painful, and the negative emotions causing this pain are increasing in frequency and severity, even when I’m in the moment.
Having a dream equates to making plans for the future, and thinking about my future is the most painful place for me now. Besides, there is nothing I want. How can I create a dream when I don’t have any hope left. My measured psychological level of despair is absolute, a perfect 0.
As for our collective dream of manifesting reality, as if our existence were a game on a Star Trek holodeck, everything being a holographic projection of our consciousness, I still have to decide what sort of character I am in the story, how I portray myself, what values and principles I represent. with each choice I make, I am by default rejecting the choices I don’t choose, which creates an oppositional attitude. If I attempt to remain neutral and abstain from choosing, I am effectively withdrawing from the human experience process, strictly observing, recording and analysing the show. And if I attempt to choose all options and participate In everything, standing on both sides of an argument simultaneously, the pressure and stress tears me apart. I am not even sure I want to even be playing a character or observer in this dream at all, given how dramatic it is. The trauma of having compassion and empathy for other characters being in pain is excruciating for me.
I often wish I were asleep. People often tell me how blissful their ignorance is, and I envy their ability to experience joy, just as I envy the enlightened ones for their inner peace. when my energy field is strong I’m lonely, because everyone here is weak, and I’m in demand to comfort them which is draining. when I’m weak I get lots of company and compassion, but I feel terrible. Catch 22.
The only thing I know for sure is that all choices have risks, responsibilities, costs, rewards, allies and enemies, and that none of the available options are appealing.
What do I do? What can I do? Even the default of doing nothing, choosing none of the above, really really sucks. I’m so very lost and do not understand. Please someone, anyone, help!!!!!!!

Buzz, I am not sure what to say, I only know who I am, and what works for me.

But what I sense is that you may be too analytic in your approach to life…perhaps the way would be to flow more, to trust yourself (in Taoism they call it following the Way, the path of spontaneity).

We cannot figure it all out (the why, how, when and where) before we start dancing this dance of life…we learn the steps as we go along. Insights come naturally, and are preferable to analysis, before they originate from deeper within us, and come on their own time, when we are ready.

It seems that you are overloading your mind and emotions with data, with information…this is not the way of peace. What is peace? An absence of conflict…and where does conflict originate? In Judgment. Are you judging yourself or the world around you in any way? Look carefully at your thoughts and feelings…especially about judging/fearing yourself.

About painful feelings: trust them, and do not judge or fear them…if followed all the way they will lead you back to love, because every feeling, not matter how awful, originates in love, sometimes in love denied, betrayed, abused and brutalized, unexpressed, unfulfilled, etc…everything originates in love and returns to love, because love is what we are. It may sound like a cliche and very trite, but it is true. There is light at the end of the tunnel, now matter how much pain you feel, if you choose to follow the feeling.

It is okay not to have plans or not to know about your future…none of what society offers is that appealing, you are right! Loosing all hope is at time a necessary step while abandoning all struggles and illusions. You sound like a truth seeker (seeking your own truth), and this is a normal process.

Are you creative in any way (writing, art, music?) Have you tried? You may want to….creativity is expression, and expression is liberation and power… think about it: most of our pain as human beings comes from having been denied the expression of what we needed to express when we needed to express it, and to whom. Healing from victimization necessitates reclaiming the personal power of expression. It is crucial. It is your power…

one who is too Ill to plan for tomorrow lives in a state of constant spontaneity.

When one receives insights that do not help answer the most important questions in ones heart, they feel compelled to analyse the insights they do receive, and the world around them, for any meaning or value they can. One must accept what they receive, and attempt to use that information to the best of their ability. The only way to know how to use information is to analyse it.

I have analysed that one way to increase the frequency of insights is to increase our receptivity of stimulus events in life through an awareness of our feelings and emotions toward our life situation: the people, events and circumstances we experience.

conflict is the absence of peace, and vice versa. but judgement is not the only way to conflict. The only judgement I am aware of about myself is that I am ignorant of myself. Another path to conflict is confusion. I am frustrated because I do not understand myself. The world I exist in is disrespected by most others around me, in selfish and short sighted acts of personal survival and individual protection of standard of living.

The light at the end of the tunnel is the headland of an oncoming train, so says Murphy’s Law of pessimism. I don’t make plans for the future because I believe I know what is coming, and all the survivalist precautionary measures that the richest and most paranoid prepper on Earth is making will only prolong pain and suffering for a few more years.

Instead I’m trying to prepare myself psychologically. I know the pain and fear I am experiencing is a result of the empathy and compassion I feel for other life forms, coupled with the trauma of observational access to the pain, suffering and death of those life forms. my pain and fear are expressions of love for them.

I have found creative writing, although poetry is harder, to be the easiest form of creativity for me, however i find little reward from it. Perhaps my depression is interfering with the neurotransmitters responsible for feeling happiness and joy. The most I can get out of the experience is satisfaction, but I can get that from performing functional analysis too, so why bother with artistic writing. Furthermore, I find the art of conversation to be sufficiently creative, but I don’t get creative with people when my objective is analysis, like this conversation, unless requested to do so. Am I accurate in deducing you would like to see my creative writing abilities incorporated into this conversation? Do you believe that level of expression will help in a emotional situation where a high level of trauma continues daily, even where there are no obvious attackers or victims, bullies or targets.
