We simply need a New Theology

Conversations with God told us that humanity nearly rendered itself extinct once before. Barely enough of us survived to regenerate the species and start over. Are we at this same turning point again? Have we arrived once more at the intersection where theology meets cosmology meets sociology meets pathology?

Right now we are still embracing a Separation Theology. That is, a way of looking at God that insists that we are “over here” and God is “over there.”

The problem with a Separation Theology is that it produces a Separation Cosmology. That is, a way of looking at all of life that says that everything is separate from everything else.

And a Separation Cosmology produces a Separation Psychology. That is, a psychological viewpoint that says that I am over here and you are over there.

And a Separation Psychology produces a Separation Sociology. That is, a way of socializing with each other that encourages the entire human society to act as separate entities serving their own separate interests.

And a Separation Sociology produces a Separation Pathology. That is, pathological behaviors of self-destruction, engaged in individually and collectively, and producing suffering, conflict, violence, and death by our own hands—as evidenced everywhere on our planet throughout human history.

Only when our Separation Theology is replaced by a Oneness Theology will our pathology be healed. We have been differentiated from God, but not separated from God, even as your fingers are differentiated but not separated from your hand (to reuse an earlier illustration).

We must come to understand that all of life is One. This is the first step. It is the jumping-off point. It is the beginning of the end of how things now are. It is the start of a new creation, of a new tomorrow. It is the New Cultural Story of Humanity.

Oneness is not a characteristic of life. Life is a characteristic of Oneness. Life is the expression of Oneness Itself. God is the expression of Life Itself. God and Life are One. You are a part of Life. Therefore, you and God are One.

It is as simple as that.

Gotta love the simplicity…The Trickle ‘Into’ Effect. 🙂

Yes, even the Oneness… it’s the same “game” of all trickling into… it is power, of Oneness, power of Universe

    Hello Neale,

For the believer, there is no such thing as separation theology in Christian doctrine. If you read John 17 you will see that very clearly:

John 17:20 “I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word,
John 17:21 that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me.
John 17:22 The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one,
John 17:23 I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me.

There is no separation between God and the believer, at any time. Christians are all members of the body of Christ, and that is a spiritual body. It is made possible by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, whom baptizes us into His body and eternal union with God and Christ. Have you read the book of Ephesians? The scripture is clear:

Ephesians 2:6 and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,

Believers are seated with Christ in Heavenly places. Scripture does not say we are over here and God is over there. Scripture tells us we are the temple of God and that He is within us, and one with us:

1 Corinthians 6:19 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own,
What I imagine you object to is the idea that you are separated from God because of your sins. As a former practitioner of the new age, I understand where you are coming from and I know what you problem is. You are aware that God is love, but you are unaware that God is holy. You only have one half of the picture of who God is.

This is what your god has rejected in your conversations, the idea of any moral accountability, or indeed that there is really any such thing as right and wrong. As your god so blithely stated, he doesn’t care what we do. However, we all have consciousness of right and wrong, and a god who denies it even exists is not the God of this Universe. God wrote His laws on our hearts and your conscience will confirm that fact.

Neale, I understand that you have everything in the world riding on the idea that the being that you’ve been talking to is really God, the Creator. It is a virtual certainty that you will go to your grave believing that unless you come to understand that this belief has put your eternal future in jeopardy. This is what Jesus tells us about success in this world:

Matthew 16:26 For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?

The milquetoast Jesus of your imagination doesn’t exist, Neale. The Jesus who came to Earth will thoroughly purge His threshing floor and gather the wheat into His barn, but the chaff He will burn with unquenchable fire. I believe you are honest and sincere about your conversation with your god, and that you did have a conversation with him. Now you have everything riding on the word of that spirit who claims to be God. It all started on that day it spoke to you, and through its words you have gained the world, but what I know is that you have brushed off warning signs about this being who claims to be God. You haven’t looked too closely because you don’t want to know the awful truth.

God is faithful and He will deliver you out of this mess you have created and forgive you. If you are willing to accept responsibility for what you’ve done and repent, He will somehow use all of it for the greater good. Please Neale, receive a love for the truth before your time runs out here. God bless.

Yes, absolutely, Neale, it’s a “returning to Oneness” but not everyone’s neurological programming will be able to handle it… the other important issue is herein: The
question is, Neale, can we accurately locate God? I mean “everywhere”
or “omnipresent” is NO answer, is it? That’s like saying, God = Energy
Process = Quantum unified field…. so. I, personally, put the location
in our deep, deep unconscious MIND, Neale…. I personally believe in human creativity — as IT
